Specific Category

Flight operations falling into the “specific” category cover other types of operations with a higher risk. For these types of operations a risk assessment should be carried out in order to determine the requirements necessary and to safeguard the safety of the flight operation.
In the case of low risk operations that carried out in the “special” category, the operator must have developed a Predefined Risk Assessment with detailed mitigation measures.
Drone pilots performing operations in the specific category comply with the competency requirements set out in the flight license or the Predefined Risk Assessment or in the light UAS operator certificate (LUC).

Who is this training for?
